It matters not what they may say
Words cannot change what I am,
The Watcher of the Seals, Tar Valon's Flame
Beat me, you cannot bring me pain
The body can be broken but
The spirit will remain
A lie reveals the truth
A parasite infects the shadow to its roots
Mistrust and paranoia reign
Our tower crumbling beneath us
We must not break under the strain
Discordant oaths must be unmade
Let silence be my armor
and defiance be my blade
Arrogant fools refused to heed my call
A tower lapsed in vigilance will simply wait to fall
Fire in the sky
The ground is shaking
We must take their lives
Or we will be enslaved
A storm gathers around me
I am vengeance itself
Fire in the sky
The ground is shaking
We must take their lives
Or we will be enslaved
A storm gathers around me
I am vengeance itself
I will destroy them all
They will not dare to face me again
A burning beacon, I fear no one
Let them come!
Chaos withdraws with coming dawn
Silence is interrupted by the groan of ruined walls
A break appears within the clouds
Portent of changing tides swirls in the winds atop the mount
Smoke rises, but this tower still stands
We'll heal these wounds under my command

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli

A Pagan black metal masterpiece.
Folk and black metal elements fuse into one extremely catchy and awe inspiring album. This band does not disappoint from all the high praise sent it's way. Abyssius Murkraken
